Lifting the lives of deprived population through education, health and economic self-sufficiency

Early childhood education
Our early childhood program is a modified version of the Harlem Gems (Pre-K) program. As such, we have kept the name “Gems” to reflect how precious and beautiful each of the kids are. Our genuine belief that each kid represents a treasure from which we will build a brilliant future for the community, the nation, and the world, drives our actions and commitments.
To achieve such an ambitious goal in a rural deprived African community, we understand that community adherence is the lynchpin for success. Hence, we also involve parents to prepare them in the same way we prepare children.
The instructional program is provided using individual, small, and large group activities and projects. The areas essential to the program to develop emergent skills for Kindergarten are:
-
Social and Emotional Development
-
Creative Arts
-
Health, Safety, and Physical Education
-
Language Arts and Literacy
-
Mathematics
-
Science
